Julie Nolan I was also ****med by this nr. today ***. The person on the call told me this company Mzanzi Rewards CI was taking R99/month for the last 9 months or something and wanted to know if I knew about it. He was going to refund me now for all of those transactions and put a stop on this debit order. He very convincingly told me he's from FNB ***** unit. And because the debit order doesn't have a ref nr. it was escalated to them. This all threw me for a 6 and I started giving the information even though I know about the ****s' that people pull but he was so convincing. (Apologies to all of the people in the past that I couldn't believe got ****med.) He asked if I can confirm my date and 3 nr. on the back of card. Have i signed my card at the back? Then he asked me for my last 8 digits on the card. So i asked him how can i be certain you are from FNB ***** so his answer was I'm sending you a confirmation SMS now, have you received it. Luckily I had a meeting and had to go and he tried keeping me on to finish but I insisted i had to go. He's tried calling me again 5 times since.
