Withholding information & now cancellation letter

18th January 2017, a MSA consultant contacted, gave me the sales pitch and I joined. On finding out more information, I contacted them on the 23rd January 2017, asking to be cancelled. They then informed me there is a cancellation fee (which was never mentioned) and they would send me a letter before the end of the week, and that they are cancelling.

No letter has ever arrived. On Friday 24th Feb 2017, I discovered at my bank that I have been put under debt review. I am still waiting for the cancellation letter, and they have already deducted their cancellation fee from my account.

I have since been told by a MSA consultant (yesterday) that it may take up to 3 months to receive the letter. Now my debit orders are blocked and I have to pay all my accounts manually.

Sorry but I have no records of missed calls on my phone. As you said you called me. I'm amazed that even though I did the cancellation within 4days , I was still charged R300 yet my banks were not informed of the cancellation and I was not sent the letter I was promised , but the R300 was in your hands. I hear there's a 7days grace period when one cancels and that doesn't include any payment. Mine was within 4days and you still charged me. How does one trust this kind of service. This is something you warn people to run away from. As it aims to cause more pain and bury the ill informed unsuspecting people.

It gets worse: a consultant emailed me asking for my ID number, I sent it immediately. Next came another email with a document titled rejection letter. This puzzles me as I never was told about no rejection letter. I was awaiting a cancellation letter as I was initially promised when I cancelled. When I asked about this rejection letter , I was given yet another new information that I was never given when they approached me. Now I'm told about 17.1 & 17.2 things I know nothing about. How did they continue to things like that when I had cancelled within four days of this process and I was promised a cancellation letter within the same week. Now when it finally comes it's no longer cancellation its rejection letter. Had they given me full information I would have been made a well informed decision . Now they are stalling and playing with words I don't even understand . Dealing with these people is draining and exhausting. All I know is that I cancelled and I was promised a cancellation letter not rejection letter. This is a big mess and is not good and doesn't reflect good on them.
