Dear Bradwin
Our records doesn't reveal any cancellation request either by e-mail, post or otherwise from your side.
However, kindly be advised that a debt review cancellation or withdrawal request should go through a legal process, especially when the request to cancel is made after you are found to be over-indebted(17.2 form). This is per the NCR WITHDRAWAL GUIDELINES of 2015 and the NATIONAL CREDIT ACT of 2005. In your case, you were already found to be over-indebted and accepted under debt review. Please note the following:
If client requests to be cancelled from debt review after the issuance of a 17.2 acceptance form:
Response: Kindly be advised that in accordance with the NCR withdrawal guidelines of 2015, the following is applicable:
1. Consumers can only withdraw or terminate the debt review process prior to declaration of over-indebtedness as per section 86(7) of the Act and issuance of Form 17.2 subject to payment of debt counseling fees as per NCR Debt Counseling Fee Guidelines.
2. If a determination is made and no court order is in place, the consumer will remain under debt review unless a consumer is no longer over indebted and an order or court is obtained to this effect.
3. A debt Counselor will notify the credit providers of the withdrawal by means of Form 17.W and update NCR DHS with status G as soon as a court order to withdraw you from debt review is obtained.
However, we will forward your request to attorneys who will call you shortly should you not have your own to assist you with the withdrawal.
Kind Regards
