Dear Lucas
When one applies for debt review, there are fees that are payable as Restructuring or debt counselors fees in the first month and legal fees in the second month. There is NO WAY that you were NOT advised that these fees are payable. We can send you the voice recording where our consultant advises you about these fees, on request.
Also NOTE the following:
Kindly be advised that in accordance with the NCR withdrawal guidelines of 2015, the following is applicable:
1. Consumers can only withdraw or terminate the debt review process prior to declaration of over-indebtedness as per section 86(7) of the Act and issuance of Form 17.2 subject to payment of debt counselling fees as per NCR Debt Counselling Fee Guidelines.
2. If a determination is made and no court order is in place, the consumer will remain under debt review unless a consumer is no longer over indebted and an order or court is obtained to this effect.
3. A debt Counsellor will notify the credit providers of the withdrawal by means of Form 17.W and update NCR DHS with status G.
However, we will forward your request to attorneys who will call you shortly should you not have your own.
For further assistance please call *** or email to ***
