**********ly tried to put me under debt review

I was contacted by one of MSA consultants and was told that the system shows I was under debt review. This particular person told me that she will "Fix it" if I send her a copy of my ID, power of attorney, page with my signature, etc. I immediately viewed my credit report and realised that this was all lies. I contacted my lawyer whom adviced me NOT to send these requested documents. The next day I received an email from one of my accounts that my application for debt review was rejected due to the lack of required documentation provided. I have one more payment left on this account... why would I apply for debt review??? I hope my review will help someone else to not send anything to this company. They should be closed down. Abusing the law.

Dear Reagan

Please be advised that an affordability assessment was done and your application was rejected because you were NOT found to be over indebted hence we sent out the 17.2 rejection letters to your creditors.

We would NOT place you under debt review without your consent.

Kind Regards

Reviewer Update

This is not true. Homechoice informed me that I was placed under debt review in June 2016 and my status was removed in March 2017 when I paid up my account. They told me that I owe them R1700 because my "Status Change" now. I paid your cancellation fee in June 2016 but you did not cancel my application with my accounts. This is *****. Who will pay now the R1700 that Homechoice wants?
