WORST DIETICIAN IN PORT ELIZABETH - RENE SMALBERGER

During hospitalization in St Georges hospital the treating cardiologist referred Ms Rene Smalberger (Dietician) to prepare eating plan with objective to lower cholesterol and lose weight. She consulted with me in hospital and supposedly made notes of all my food intolerances due to IBS and general dislikes. Yet when eating plan was sent a few days later it was an obvious generic eating plan with no consideration for my list of foods I cannot eat (including seafood). I advised her on the same day that the eating plan was not what we discussed and that I was not happy as it was not sustainable for lifestyle changes according to my needs, and also cancelled a follow up meeting due to that. She did not respond to my complaint at all aside from sending me the bill for R854.20. All correspondence from her related only to getting paid. No effort to offer to change generic plan. She read my justified complaint and promptly ignored aside from asking for payment. Although she has been paid, she still sends emails and WhatsApp messages from her personal phone for payment and I can only assume her bookkeeping skills are on par with her dietician skills. I would not recommend her to anyone who requires a very specific eating plan to be developed or who has intolerance for foods they want considered in their plan. Very disappointed in her service and handling of my complaint after my initial meeting where she was very pleasant and appeared professional.
