Absolute poor service
Audi S3 I am writing regarding the purchase of my 2007 Audi S3 at M&S Motorlink and the following issues I had from day one:
• Since the first day I collected the vehicle the traction control light were on and could not be switched off. I was told it is due to the battery that needs to be replaced. Even after the battery were replaced the traction control light still stayed on. This was due to the Haldex unit of the car that was not working. I still don't know if this is repaired. • Both sides of the front brake discs were cracked. • The oil filter housing had a crack in, but they fixed it. As well as the headlights and brakelights were not sealed and water enters into the light units whenever it rains or the car gets washed. • Boost pipes were cracked and had to be replaced. • Whole quattro system (Haldex) not working. (I was never informed of that) • All 4 of the cars rims are bent and still not fixed as promised. • Car goes into limb mode as soon as it gets to running temperature. • The front and rear bumper were scratched by M&S Motorlink while the car were in for the Oil filter housing repairs and never resprayed as promised. • All 4 rims were also scratched by M&S Motorlink while in for repairs. Still not resprayed • The turbo also were not boosting at all. After taking the car back for repairs they told me that they installed a new turbo on the car. The car kept going into limb mode as soon as it needs to boost. The wrong and smaller size turbo were installed on the car. (Golf 6 GTI KO3 turbo instead of a KO4). • It was promised that a new turbo will be installed on the car. I still don’t know if it is done as the car is still in their possession. • When I went to the workshop to check on my cars progress I noticed that the front wheel arch on the right side has got a new dent. (must've happened while repairs were done) • The driver side doorpanel are broken since day one and still not fixed as promised. • The driver seat's leather are torn since the day I purchased the vehicle. It was said to me that it will be fixed, but are still exactly the same. • Apparently the manifault of the car seized/broke when the new turbo was installed due to the long period of standing in the workshop and they had to order and install a new one. • After the new manifault were installed the car still went into limb mode. The reason therefore is that apparently the car needs to go to Audi to update the software as there is a new manifault installed.
I phoned the dealership (M&S Motorlink) and spoke to the owners. They told me that the car will be fixed as soon as possible and now it is a year and three months later and I still don’t have my car back. After 1 year and 3 months of paying an Installment for a car I don't even have??
Is there any advice as this is getting ridiculous now?
