Mr Prepaid is the most inconsiderate prepaid company.

What a horrible company! Their customer service is absolutely terrible. If you can find a better alternate rather go with them. They will disconnect you in a blink of an eye with absolutely no warning. While you think that everything is okay you just get a shock to see that you are unable to buy prepaid tokens. They are extremely inconsiderate and promised that they would send an email warning of pending disconnections but they never did. You would think considering the banks are closed and clients are working from home during COV19 that they would have better customer service in place. But to the contrary, they treat your call as a joke and the call centre agents act like robots reading from a script , their tone of concern as shallow as can be, mere words that mean nothing. If they really cared they would have changed their policies to be more considerate of their clients long ago. Since this is the fourth or fifth time that i have complained to them and until now nothing has changed. Learn from companies like outsurance, who do everything they can to make sure they are considerate of their customers. As an essential services company, you are only there for monetary purposes. You sent out an email that you are essential services and will be available during lockdown. Then how can you just cut an essential service like electricity without giving the client a heads-up to rectify any issues? Municipality services cant be cut unless the client gets a letter informing them what will happen and they give you several notices. All i asked for since my first letter was that they email us a notification because you cannot predict the issues that arise with the bank accounts or bank notifications especially for a small amount. And then they over charge us because the debit bounced. The bank charges us and Mr Prepaid, if i have to pay mr prepaid 30 rand they charge us 130 to reconnect. It would be better to receive an invoice before month end and let the clients do manual payments!
