BEWARE of Mr Video - Porterfield Road, Table View

TWO years, after moving away from the area (and ceasing to do business with this particular store); I am STILL being FALSELY ACCUSED of 'failure to return DVD's'. Which is utter rot. Years ago, on the rare occasion, I had rented DVD's from this particular store; and would FREQUENTLY be accused of 'not returning' a DVD. I would go over there, mad-as-hell, asking them to please review their in-store video footage, and to buck up and be more COMPETENT. On EVERY OCCASION, the kid working in the store, would locate the said DVD, which I had moments before, been accused of not returning. This HAPPENED REPEATEDLY, until I realised that the store is run with GROSS INCOMPETENCE and ceased all dealings with them. LO-and-BEHOLD, TWO YEARS later, I am STILL being informed that there are fines amounting to R150 against my name, for 'failure to return DVD's.... that I have been 'black-listed' and they continue to allow other people to take movies out 'on my name'.

I have tried phoning the telephone numbers listed for that store, to no avail. I have tried phoning Mr Video "Head Office", to no avail.
