Bad Tar from Mr Tar

In 2016 Mr Tar in the Helderberg area, renewed the asphalt / tar on my driveway at a cost of about R21 000. This was the most expensive quote but I took it because they promised quality work and product. Immediately after the re-tarred the driveway surface, I started complaining about the bad quality tar they used. My rubber duck made and indent on the tar after just standing for one day on the tar. This was after the tar settled for two days. Horst from Mr Tar responded by saying we must give the tar more time to settle. After only a couple of weeks, the tar started cracking. I complained again. After a couple of weeks later, the cracks got worse. Again I complained. By now Horst's daughter Bianca was at the helm of business. In 2018 eventually they send out somebody to fill the cracks. The expensive tar surface now started to look like a secondhand patch job and the the cracks just kept on getting worse. Bianca from Mr Tar promised to repay my money. A year later when I started to insist that they pay my money back, they refused. Now suddenly they have a lot of excuses why they should not repay the money. More than 3 years and still no solution or my money back. Be careful of who you use and trust
