Worst Online Shopping Ever

I’m really disheartened to leave this review because I’ve been a loyal customer of Mr Price for many years and have always enjoyed their products.

My recent experience, however, was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I received a voucher from a third party and only found out in-store that it could be used online only. This wasn’t necessarily Mr Price’s fault, as it was stated in the attachment from the third party, however, it was still disappointing to not have the option to use a voucher in-store. It would be great if there were more flexibility with voucher usage.

Secondly, I was unable to use my account in-store because I don’t have a physical card. I’ve never received one, and unlike many other major retailers, Mr Price does not seem to offer a cardless option using an ID number. This felt outdated and inconvenient.

I then decided to place an online order on 27th April ... my first time ordering online with Mr Price, and unfortunately, it has been the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. (My birthday voucher didn't work and kept giving an error). So I only used the third-party voucher.

I was given an expected delivery date of 6 May, which already felt like a long lead time. I received one update 6 days ago, no communication, and minimal tracking information.

On the day my order was supposed to arrive, the delivery date was suddenly pushed out to 20 May ... with no explanation, only some tiny writing in the bottom of my order in my app.

This level of service is extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, long delays, and poor system integration between in-store and online experiences have left a very negative impression.

I also now feel hesitant to deal with returns or exchanges with the slippers being the wrong size, due to this experience, which shouldn’t be the case as a customer.

I truly hope Mr Price improves its systems, communication, and overall customer experience, because right now, it falls far below expectations.
