Why isn't there a free shipping threshold?

I am a bit disappointed that after my wife spent over a R1000 online you are not giving her free delivery. Surely that's something you can do to thank a shopper for spending that amount online. It will also go a long way in differentiating you from your competitors.

I know it might seem petty since it's only R45 but your competitors can do it. You might also get more shoppers. There are countless times I have added an additional item to my cart just to avoid shipping costs.
