Waste of time

I purchased a pair of embroided block heel shoes from MRP in Parow Centre on Sunday 1 April. I called the call centre on Monday 2 April to enquire about a pair of black block heel shoes. I asked the agent which branch closest to Parow has this shoe in a size 6. He told me that Tygervalley has 3 pairs in that size. I was transferred to the branch. I told the lady that i purchased the embroided pair and would much rather exchange to get the black pair instead. I gave her the SKU number and she confirmed that they had 3 in stock. She asked me to hold while she went to look for the shoes on the floor to keep it aside until I collected. I was holding for 9 minutes before i ended the call. I went to MRP Tygervalley based on the fact that no one was being helpful telephonically. I arrived there only for a staff member to tell me that she thinks they're sold out. I asked her to check if they have stock on the system since i called the call centre and the store - she confirmed that they have no stock.

I am highly annoyed. I wasted my airtime, petrol, time & energy for 1 item that i still have yet to find.
