***** using my ID at Mr Price is ignored and not dealt with after many years!!!

Several years ago somebody used my ID number to open an account at Mr Price and purchase a cell phone in my name. At the time when no payments were made they contacted me many times, to which I explained I knew nothing of the purchase/s. I asked them to send me proof of opening the account, where I had signed for the terms etc. They couldn't do that. Eventually they said they had written off the debt. It now appears my ID was listed by them with SA ***** protection services and as a result I cannot open a bank account. I have emailed them with zero feedback and tried calling all the available numbers online for the group but cannot get through to the correct department. It needs to be removed from the ***** site and cleared once and for all as is hindering my ability to do business!
