Unprofessional customer service

On the 22 December I went to Mr Price Tswane mall in Mamelodi , I used their self help machines and accidentally left my card in the machine . Went back the following day and asked the guy who's name is Tebogo If he perhaps saw my card and he said yes , he than walked with me to the counter and told a Guy cold Sibusiso (who works at the counter )that I'm the customer who lost her card and he should give it back to me . This Sibusiso guys just said to me it's not there anymore and that I should go make another card just like that . I mean aren't they suppose to keep the customers things safe until they return to get it ? I'm so ****ed I mean its festive Season ans so much ***** happening what I'm a support to do just spend another R75 to get a new card

At 14h02 I went back to the store to find 9it whether they found my card of not and demanded to speak to the assisting manager who's name Desiry and she told me that it is the store policy to destroy the card when it's found I mean what nonsense is that she also said told me to go make a new card . Where in the policy is it written ?
