unhappy customer

on friday 09-06-2017 @ 11 am i went to Mr price in wood mead johannesburg to buy some clothes, took a jersey and went to the fitting room where i took of the jersey i was wearing and my prada glasses to fitt on the jersey i was about to buy. the jersey was small then i decided to leave my belongings in the fitting room to get a bigger size that will fitt me. when i went into the fitting room there was no one to assist me and the fitting rooms were empty when i came out to exchange the size of the jersy two of Mr price employees were standing next to the fitting room and they asked me why am i leaving my jersey in the fitting room i said to them i just want to go exchange the size of the jersey i was about to buy to a bigger size.

in the fitting room i had left my glasses and my jersey that i was wearing, when i came back to fetch my belongings my glasses were missing i ran out of the fitting room straight to the security at the door and asked if anyone went out the security confirmed that no one went out of the shop, the employees also confirmed that no one of the customers went into the fitting rooms, if i have to estimate there was about 7 customers in the shop.

i asked the security to call the security shop manager and shop manager told me that they will search everyone of their workers and asked if she can call after an hour i waited for an hour then went back to the shop and was informed everyone was strip searched and nothing was found .

what is suprising is when i asked that that people must be searched i was told it is against their policy to close the doors and search the people immediately but they managed to do it when i was not there.

i asked the store manager ( Rosinah) to please assist because i was not happy with me loosing my belongings in a shop and worst the shop had only about 7 customers and none in the fitting room.

i asked the manager to write a statement and she agreed she went to her office, when she came back she had the regional manager on the phone by the name of Riaan Roodt whom was very rude and was shouting over the phone and telling that hwere do i get the right accuse his staff of *****ing my glasses i tried to talk to and explain to him what had happened because for its obvious that one of his staff members took my glasses.

i am unhappy of the treatment i got especially from the regional manager and also i would like hello peter to assist in getting my glasses back or advicing Mr price to take responsibility of my lost glasses in their shop.
