Unacceptable and Discriminatory Service at The Mutual (CPT CBD)

I am shocked and deeply disappointed by the treatment I received from a manager, Yaseen, at the Cape Town CBD – The Mutual branch. When I raised a concern about a defective item, he belittled me in front of staff, dismissed my complaint, and refused a refund, citing the item’s price and “no cash in the till.”

What is even more disturbing is that I was treated differently because of the color of my skin, subjected to attitude, disrespect, and racial **************. This behavior is completely unacceptable from any employee, let alone a manager.

As a loyal customer, I demand that this incident be investigated immediately, and that action be taken to hold those responsible accountable. I will continue to share this experience until the company addresses the matter seriously.
