System offline

I ordered stuff online from Mr Price and 3 days later got the response it is ready for store pick up, great cause i need the clothes for that night, i drove after work to the store to pick it up, i was in such a rush i forgot my reference number, i told the lady i forgot my ref number but can they check it with my account cause i had bought it online with my account from Mr Price she had a attitude and said no the system is offline and without the reference number she cant help me(understandable it is my fault) so i went online into my account and got the ref number i went back, she entered the code and but the system is offline so it doesn't go through, so i get told i need to come back the next day, I asked don't you have a back up for when your system is down? like manual delivery note of some sort i mean you cant be that reliant on the computer i get told straight no they cant help me i will have to come back! so i asked well then can i buy on my account cause i now need this clothes i cant get it so i want to then buy something from the shop? no sorry the system is down cant buy anything! how can you not have a back up if your system is down! im paying my account off & closing
