Staff should be trained to handle customers.

I am constantly shopping at the clearwater mall mr price and also online.I ordered clothes to be delivered as a birthday gift ,Only problem was two items, was a bit bigger, but an exchange wouldn't be a problem, as i read on the website.
on monday 26th oct at Pinetown, Sanlam Centre. My mum was Directed to the till, the invoice and tags all still intact, and get told immediately by the cashier, that their clothes they want to exchange are not in stock and the prices in store are mucn higher, so they wont get anything for the two items they exchanging, and because i paid for the goods by card, they wont be able to get a refund or a gift card, by this time my mum had called me to tell me about the predicament they were in, and along comes a male , who in zulu then tells the cashier to 'check that the clothes arent worn, cos you know how these indians are' .....my mum understands zulu. this went on for a few minutes until the security guard had to explain the returns policy to them.

Please train your staff to handle such queries, as they go against what is stated on the policy . Very insulting and unprofessional. Please see order number below as proof.
