Shocking service - tearing off prices

<p>I am appalled by the service I received at Mr Price Cleary Park PE. On 14/6/2016, my husband and I went searching for pants as he bought a pair a few weeks ago and loved the fit. </p> <p> </p> <p>To our surprise, all the pants we looked at did not have prices on, the prices were torn off. Then I found a nice black skinny pants, the size 28 was marked R159.99 but we took the size 30. At the till - the price reflected was R189.99. I said that the price is R159.99 and brought the size 28 to the counter. The Sales assistant, ********** said that the price of the size 30 has been adjusted and I cant get my pants at the same price. I responded that that design is the same and marked R159.99 (and there is no 'rise per size' from size 28 to 30) She called another sales assistant who quickly took the pants and tore off the R159.99 price and returning the pants to the rail. The Sales Assistant treated me with an 'attitude' and said she does not want to argue with me - that I cannot have the pants for the price I saw. I ended up paying R189.99 cash for the pants.</p> <p> </p> <p>I think it is ********* tearing off the price from the pants and insisting that I should pay the higher price - when there was no R189.99 price marked or displayed on the pants, but cleary marked R159.99</p> <p> </p> <p>Why was the prices increased in the first place??? Very strange - almost all the pants - different designs and colours had their prices torn off. This is *****.</p> <p> </p> <p>I feel ****** of R30 - this is worth 3 loaves of bread to feed my family.</p>
