service consultants robbing people

I feel sad and angry that my elderly mother got ****** by one of the cashiers at the till point while making a payment. My mother went to buy two pants for my younger brother and one of the items was marked down, and further marked down at the till point. She asked the till cashier how much the items would cost and as she only had R300 with her and hoped it would be enough.

The till operator advised that it would be more than enough and rang up the item, what she then proceeded to do was not ring up the items as a cash sale but as an account purchase with another persons account. The second item was further marked down at the till to R80 but the cashier did not inform my mother at all.

I understand its january and its a tough month for everone but that is not an excuse to rob the elderly aspecially when they know they dont pay that much attention to the slip. I feel awful and pained that my own mothers good wishes of wanting to buy something nice with her own money was seen as a way of making quick cash. In total the items would have cost my mother R249.99 but she never received any change and none is stated on the slip due to it being rang up as an account purchase..

I tried to call Mr proce Promenade and could not speak to anyone , their manager as written on the slip is a perosn named Khassief and that cashiers name was Sonia.

I am really disgusted I understand R60.00 is not that mauch of mony but its the principle of the whole matter, is MR price telling us now tht we cant have our elderly shop at your stores out of fear opf being ****** by your own staff.

Disgusting I am applalled by the whole situation and to not even get the chance to peak to someone when I called is seriously discomforting.
