SELLING ACCOUNT HOLDERS' PERSONAL INFORMATION

I'm trying for over a year to get my statements by e-mail and gave my contact details numerous times to Mr Price's Call Centre with no results!! For some reason Mr Price got my mother's cell phone no. as my contact detail. Lately more and more calls come in on my mother's cell phone from different companies trying to sell some products or services asking for me. As Mr Price is the only one who has my mother's cell phone no. as my contact detail, I phoned the Customer Care Centre to clarify this matter and spoke to Bongi who actually confirmed that YES Mr Price do SELL their account holders' personal details to third parties. Apparently they ask the customer while applying for an account if they can issue personal details to third parties. Well I have a Mr Price account now for over a decade and I cannot recall that such a question ever came up and if it did I would NEVER agreed to that. The people phoning in now got all my personal details, like Full names, ID No. and Physical address!!! And they lie. I asked the man where did he get this no. and he rep**** from a friend of mine. I changed my contact no. back to my cell phone & e-mail address & asked for statements but nothing yet
