Retail bad service

Sandton City Mr price not a good service at all.. Went to do an exchange on the 13. 08.2021 and lost my receipt a lady called Modjadji refused to do an exchange for me as she said they not doing exchanges anymore if you don't have a receipt due to looting, however the item I was exchanging it's a ne arrival they got it last week but they still couldn't do the exchange for me, all I wanted was to exchange and will top up the difference. Waited for like an hour for them to check their admin as I showed them even my bank statement but still no help.
