Refused to exchange Golfer for bigger size.

Received a birthday gift. Went in to change from a medium to a large at MR PRICE GATEWAY in Umhlanga and was told no they want the receipt. Showed the manager EUGENE my drivers licence to validate it was my birthday and his response was " no get the receipt as lots of things were looted" Not sure if I was the one who looted a birthday gift for myself and took the incorrect size. Definitely will take this matter further on other social media platforms.
