Refund refusal and rude Manager

I went to Mr Price Northgate on the 29/03 to buy a few things with my friend for my daughter's birthday. However the things that my daughter chose I didn't like, I wanted her to choose clothing instead of a cup. I then went to Balfour the next day to exchange the things I bought with my receipt and with the things still having their tags. I was met with a very rude lady who happened to be the Store Manager I later learnt as she was not wearing her name tag . Because of that attitude I decided to not exchange but refund and get my money bag. The lady by the name of Mavhungu refused to give me back my money even thought I had a receipt. She said I must confirm the card, the 4 last numbers which I did but I also told her that virtual card last 4 numbers changes all the time it won't be same. She then refused to refund me. I called customer care spoke to Snegugu who told me the Manager can use her discretion not to refund me. They had already taken back my things, at this point they have my money and their products back. All I need is my money back so I can go buy where I'm valued, as their policy clearly state bring the receipt it doesn't say the last 4 numbers need to match. Also a compliment to the staff member who was helping me very kind and empathetic I wish the Manager was like him.
