I went to the East rand mall Mr Price clothing store on the 1st October when leaving the store the security guard asked to search my bags. Upon this 2 (WHITE)families walked past and she never asked to search their bags. I asked about it and she responded she was busy my sister then went to look for the manager while i was at the door she then explained to another staff member that we are over reacting and in this more (WHITE) families walked past and she did not asked to have look at their bags. I asked about this and she just ignored me with attitude. So my impression of Mr. Price East rand mall is that they clearly have an issue with people of colour as their security is only searching people like us of colour shopping bags etc. So my impression is that this rule only applies to us and not WHITE people and this is unacceptable. I will take this matter further up the ladder as far as i possible can(As it seems this is how their staff is trained). i am a regular shopper at Mr Price and this is disrespectful and insulting service and the public should know.
