Purse was ****** - Clear water mall

I am say I am absolutely not happy with the security guys working in your store.

I had very bad day on 13th October Friday 0630 pm. After I finished my shopping in Pick n pay I walked inside Mr. Price Clothing Gorund Floor and was standing at the hand bag section and checking. My purse was inside my handbag which was ****** when I just turned for 10sec to check something.

I immediately went to the front security and I told this and requested her to check with the customers who were moving out. But she asked me to check everybody which made me look like fool in front of everybody.

I just checked two or three people since some of them dint allow me to check.

That security lady she dint help me atleast to explain this to people wat happened to me and help in checking.

But she just told some other colleague to check in the camera footage. But eventually the guy after sometime he said that the camera dint cover me where I was standing.

And also they said their is no camera installed upstairs in the store so and no security also so lady must have vanished.

If the security was bit strict and if they would have acted at the right time I would have got my Purse. Because of the negligence, no immediate action, no camera, no security upstairs all I must say is my purse was gone.

If immediate action would have taken by checking the customers inside the store I am sure I would have got my purse back also would have filed case against the lady.

The incident really depressed me and still depressing and couldnt accept wat happened.

Their was R400 + 100 Dollars + R400 worth of other currencies. Indian Driving License, Election ID, AADHAR id, Bank cards , My photos and all shopping cards. The total worth is approx R3000.

I am depressed, traumatized and seeking medical help because of this. I need Mr.Price to compensate me as this happened inside there store and no help was provided.

Some action must be taken on this else I would say I am going to escalate this to Executive Director and take action on this legally for what happened.

I need reply immediately. Still regret entering your store MR.PRICE such a helpless security.

Received a call from Regional Manager on the same day of my post. I explained him what happened he said he will talk to his insurance and get back to me. Again today I received call from another manager who says he cant do anything regards to this. Now that he says he made strict security and installing cameras in upstairs etc. So I am the first victim to make your security rules strict and pointing cameras in all direction? I agree 100% that we are responsible for all our belongings but the fact here I am explaining is that Security lady was not helpful at all. If she would have make a quick search with the people who were exiting then the lady would have frightened and dropped my purse somewhere in the store and I would have got my purse. Take a note I wouldn't be complaining anybody if the purse would have ****** when I was on road. I was inside the mall and in Mr Price shop and I reported the security at the front immediately when I found out it was lost but that lady would have taken little bit of action so that the lady would have scared and dropped the purse somewhere. @ Mr Price you must know to value your customers and support when needed. I really requested her more that three times just to explain this to the customer who were living the store and just co operate in searching. As I know of the genuine people would understand the pain of victim and I am sure would allow security to search. This action would have frightened due to this. The main disappointment here for me is that no action was taken from the security as soon as incident happened. These are the things which made me traumatized, seeking medical help, sleepless nights. @ Mr Price I am a foreign Indian national who lost everything. The procedure to get all my ID cards is very long and very difficult. I am tired of explaining this via phone for 30min every time ,so give me call only when you have solution.
