In short. Cellphone, data card and insurance purchased at Mr Price Port Alfred. The cell was ****** and matter reported to Mr Price as WE DID NOT RECEIVE the insurance contract to see what must be done to claim. Nice compliance with FAIS legislation Mr Price and underwriters.

We were told by the branch that we must report the theft to the SAPS and get an ITC number from the data card service provider. WELL WELL, NO RECORD of the number at VODACOM, MTN or Cell-C on record even with the phone fully operational before being ******. So no ITC reference number could be obtained.

Was referred to the SAPS by Mr Price Port Alfred to report the theft for insurance claim purposes while we were already in touch with their branch and their so called “area manager” Percy, also known as Khulekani. Percy had 101 questions via WhatsApp and as per my observation went quiet with no answers most likely when he noticed the problem on Mr Price’s processing side.

We proceeded with a full explanation and claim to the underwriters who reputed the claim due to the time delay and no ITC reference number and referred us back to Mr Price.

Well Mr Price; since I get the feeling that you don’t care, have the ability and don’t have to comply with FAIS legislation, enjoy the purchase price of a phone I do no longer have.
