Poor service

I have been trying to return a pair of jeans since the 25th July and I've been told that the system is offline and they're only accepting cash payments. I went again today(27th) and was told the same thing. I'm really not impressed with the service and I feel like the store doesn't want to process return transactions as they know it's a loss,but I'm also a customer who reserves the right to return or exchange.
