Poor, Pathetic Service at Beacon Bay Mr Price
I am very disappointed with the customer service at the Beacon Bay branch of Mr Price in East London.
After waiting for such a long time in the queue (and only three tills were open during peak time this afternoon), the cashiers were taking their time in serving customers. By the time I got to a cashier, she was so unfriendly and did not even greet. She even banged my shoes on the counter. She made mention of some special, but I couldn't hear her because she mumbled under her mask, so I could not answer. She then asked if I wanted a packet and I said "Yes, please". Thereafter, she continued to give me such a terrible attitude and vibe, so when I asked her what the matter was, she said that she thought I've got a problem with hearing. The way that this came across was very rude and very demeaning to treat a customer in such a way.
Two of the changeroom locks were also broken in the store and the person manning the changerooms was so rude about shunting people where to go to get changed. Why is it that these locks cannot simply be fixed?
It's terrible to think that customers are treated so poorly at this store and this has been going on for quite some time now. It appears that management and staff at this store are just simply oblivious to showing any concern for customer care or customer regard. There's no one even to help you when you are looking for certain sizes of clothing items.
