Pathetic service....

On Friday, I visited the Promenade Branch, as I would do on a regular basis. I work in the mall and would only make logical sense for me to shop there. Little did I know that I would be a victim of a crime that is very well known to this store. After about spending 30 minutes in the store, a staff member approached me and had informed me that my bag was open. I then searched for my fone and realised that I had just been pick pocketed. The manger was immediately by my side and asked me to retrace my steps, which I did. The most upsetting and unfortunate part is, that where it happened, the cameras aren't working, eventhough it is a hotspot for this type of behaviour. I was furious, as I have visited the branch on many occassions and not once was I told to be vigilant, eventhough I am known by many staff members. I had to leave there with nothing, no-one asked for my details or said that they would report it, just that it always happens there and that there was nothing that they could do. Wrong!!!!! Maybe put in cameras to protect your customers and their belongings. I have always liked shopping at Mr Price but this is pathetic. A nation wide store with no cameras, no compensation, no remorse, no apology! Referred to as the "Malls Problem Child" Again I ask, where are your cameras? Do you not pride yourself with the brand? Do you not care for your customer's safety? I will not be setting my foot there again and will definitely be discouraging family and friends to do the same. Worse service by far....
