Overcharge at cashier

<p>On 3 April 2016, I purchased a T-shirt and a bottle of water to the value of R 47.99 at Mr Price in Canal Walk (Cape Town).</p> <p>I later discovered that R 537.99 was charged for the purchase as opposed to R 47.99. The difference in the purchase was attributed to a "XC Makhasi" clothing account. I have no affilation to XC Makhasi and I don't have a clothing account.</p> <p>I sent an e-mail informing Mr Price and they said that I must attend at the branch and address the issue with the sales person concerned as it is their mistake. However, I live in JHB.</p> <p>Also, a person in Mr Price's employ overcharged me in the course and scope of their duty; as such, Mr Price is vicariously liable for all actions of their employees if done in the course and scope of their duties.</p> <p>I would like to be refunded by Mr Price.</p>
