Order shipped for more than 2 weeks :-(

On the 5th of August 2020 I ordered a dress online for an occassion on the 22nd and to date my order is still being shipped. Their standard delivery period is 5-8 days so can someone please explain what the meaning of this is.

This is after Mr price reported an increase in sales post level 3 lockdown and now this. I guess this is how we are thanked as loyal customers
