No assistance by store staff

I picked up my online from Mr Price Vangate Mall today and received shocking service.

Immediately when I got to the store I went to the click and collect section as I was collecting an online purchase. By the counter stood a manager by the name of Mogamat playing on his phone. I told him I am there to collect an order and he gave me a nod as though he was going to allocate one of the staff members to assist. I stood for a good 10 minutes not getting assistance after my interaction with the manager. The assistants kept calling other customers and also standing idle when there was no one in th queue, till I asked assistant Siyolise if there was someone to assist me. She said that she could help, so I asked her how come was I not referred to her even though she was free. She nonchalantly told me that the manager did not refer me to her and she was full of attitude even her manner of assisting me.

Even though they saw how unhappy I was when walking out the store, no apology was provided by both manager and assistant. Manager was in fact still leaning on the counter playing with his mobile .

I left the store in disbelief of what I had experienced
