Negligence for customer safety

Mr Price Gateway

During a visit to your store on the 3/1/2016 an object attached with nails pierced through my shoe and went into my foot. I was assisted by staff but must say that the response was delayed and unprofessional. I received attention from staff 10 minutes after I got injured, no Safety Reps at site and above there was no plasters in the medical aid box, staff had to rush to buy plasters. I was asked to walk to another area to be attended irrespective off being injured on my foot. Neither did anyone offer to take me to a doctor. This is totally unprofessional and needs immediate attention. This cost me a day off from work due to the inflammation of my foot and I was also unable to drive for two days due to avoiding any pressure on my foot.

I just wanted to bring this to your attention so incidents like mine can be addressed in a more professional manner in future. I was informed by Ronald the assistant manager that this object that injured me was not part off your stores however it was on your floor and points towards poor housekeeping. Its is advisable that you have a risk assessment done and have contingencies in place.

I have emailed the Mr Price complaints department and have not received any feedback.
