My laybuy just disappeared

I was in November in the canal walk Mr price branch in cape town. Spended 3 hours in a warm,poor ventilated no ac shop to get the clothes for me and family. Placed a lay buy. Today the 17th December, we returned back to the store, to collect the laybuy. The sales assistant, that helped us say, she can't find our laybuy. I spoke to the manager, she said she going to take my number, contact me if they find the laybuy. 4 hours later,no phone call. I returned to the shop. Manager said, they still can't find the laybuy and asked me if I want a refund. I took the refund, but 7 hours waisted in a clothing store is gone, without compensation. I'm very disappointed, and upset in the level of service..
