MRP ONLINE CANCELLATION

My online order was just cancelled by MRP without any communication to me as to why it had been cancelled. I purchased items during a sale period at the end of September and My order was paid for and ready to be shipped last week it was set for delivery and the day of the delivery the order was cancelled. I used the MRP WhatsApp contact and I was than told that the order was canceled because a truck was hijacked. My first response was that MRP is a giant retailer and would rather resend the items as the excuse of hijacking would be really unprofessional as its not as if there is 1 item stocked. Secondly, the normal process would involve replacing the items and sending a reorder as opposed to canceling or calling to ask which would be preferred. I am very upset. As I was tracking my order status and it was set to deliver this week. Mrp is very unprofessional for canceling my order. And to give a reasoning being Hijacked Vehicle as if you guys are not a giant retailer. hijacking of the vehicle you wouldn't even give out that information to a customer, as you would want to protect your reputation especially as an online delivery store. The cancellation occurred on the 6th of October and everyday from that day I communicated with 6 different individuals on whatsapp and was told that a team lead will contact me. It is the 13th of October 2020 and I have not received any call from a team lead. To make matters worse today i was told that the items are no longer available which was a lie as I went online to check and only 3 of the 15 items were no longer available. MRP Online is absolutely unprofessional and do not care about their customers satisfaction.
