Mr Price Table Bay I want My Money

I was at Mr Price Table Bay on Monday, when I was paying for item I wanted to buy, the cashier used some new machine when the usual machine I was on the desk. I tapped my card and waited for the slip. The cashier said there seems to be a problem with printing the slip. I asked her why she used that machine not the usual machine, she said it is because that new machine is safer. I asked then why she didn’t just email the slip as per usual. She said that new machine does not do that. I asked what the point was of using a machine that does not do the emailing of slips. The cashier rebooted the machine, and I had to wait and wait for the printer and all their machine to come on.

The manager by the name of Nicole was at the till by this time. After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting the machine came on, this manager told me I will have to pay for the item again as there was no slip coming out even though they switched off their system. Because I fed up by the whole thing, I told this manager I don’t want the item anymore. She said the money is reversed when I checked my phone to see the sms, I saw that the money reserved but I made a mistake of saying to this manager it was reversed and I left the store.

After a few minutes I left the store I checked the sms again to make sure if the money was not gone from my account, I saw that the money was reserved. I went to the store to tell this manager that the money reserved, and it will clear later into Mr Price’s account. I even showed her the sms of the reserved amount. She insisted that the money must have been reversed, I told her if it was reversed, I would have gotten 2 sms’s. She asked if there is no minus sms I got, I told her no, there was not.

Still she would not give me my money and told me to leave my contact details and card number, they will pay the money in my account if it appears in Mr Price’s account. I still have not received the money nor a call from this woman. When I call the store the line busy.
