RAVE review for Mr Price online!!

Last night I had the horrifying experience of ********** online purchases, to the tune of R7409.93, made using my Standard Bank cheque card details, to order goods from Mr Price online... Still don't understand how the ********* were able to do it without my OTP's but anyway, I phoned Standard Bank ***** line when the sms notifications started coming through on my cell around 8 pm, so they cancelled my card and opened a ***** case with reference number. The money was already debited from my acc though. I was told that Standard Bank ***** division would contact me within 72 hours. This morning I had a brainwave and decided not to wait for Std Bank, so I phoned Mr Price myself and was helped by wonderful Chane. What a pleasure! She spent a long time with me on the phone checking through 100s of transactions to trace the purchases made with my card details. She phoned me back within the hour with the good news that they traced the two transactions , managed to cancel the orders and finance dep. was busy processing the refunds on my card. I was still speaking to her on the phone when the notification of the refund came through! Thank you so much Chane and Mr Price online for your swift, helpful and friendly service! I went from being super depressed this morning, to tears of joy! I read a lot of reviews online about people struggling and not getting their funds returned by their banks, so I had very little hope. Turns out, bypassing Std bank and contacting the supplier myself was key as they still had time to reverse the transactions before the goods were delivered. The very smart ********* were kind enough to leave their names and delivery address details on the online orders as well... hmmm.... Thank you very much again to Mr Price. I am a fan! Regards Sally
