Mr Price staff lost my laybye

On the 5th of May I made a lay bye at Mr Price Kenilworth centre. Only to return a week later to collect my lay bye and they had lost it . My laybye was never captured on the system and they spent an hour and a half looking for it. The disheartening part was that I didn’t receive any communication from them. The lady who was assisting me simply went back to the till and continued with making sales. I overheard her telling another cashier that she is done looking and cannot find my stuff therefore I should look in store for whatever items that were in my laybye. I had had enough of their incompetence at this point and simply chose clothes in the store as I needed an outfit to go bury my grandmother. The lack of communication is what got me the most.
