Mr Price refused to assist me.

I went to Mr Price in joburg in corner von brandis Street and Albertina Sisulu Street to return items of clothing that where brought for me as a gift and therefore I don't have a slip and the person lost the slip aswell. I was refused any help to this regards by store manager Mampe Molokwane due to looting change of policy. But the clothing had tags and when scanned into the system date of purchase when items where bought and left the shop and location should show, So I need help as to why no one wanted to assist me i was not impressed with the service and I want good customer service.
