Mr Price Policies ******* customers.

I hope you can help me and shed some light on this situation.

On Wednesday 13th March I went to the Mr Price Ballito store with my daughter to purchase a few items which included new underwear for myself. We are not allowed to try underwear on in the change rooms so I have no clue how we would know if it fits or not. I usually wear an XS at other stores so I purchased almost R600 worth of underwear at your store in a size S to be safe. I got home and I measured your size S underwear against all my other underwear that is both S and XS and your sizing is way out. These size S would not fit my 11 year old daughter - they are tiny. Now I am apparently unable to exchange them even though they are unworn and still on hangers.

This does not make sense. I cannot try them and cannot exchange or return them so what am I supposed to do? Having spent almost R600 on underwear (of which 90% I have no use for), I am not prepared to throw that money away.

Customers should be allowed to try on underwear provided you keep your own underwear underneath.

I am really angry about this. I need to go back to the store, TRY ON the sizing I need and then exchange these. How do I get the store to comply please?

I have called your customer service team who are useless, I have sent an email and got a generic response from Minenhle Buthelezi who clearly did not read my email.

Why should I be out of pocket for hundreds of Rands due to your store policies? I'm very sure the CPA and Wendy Knowler would not agree with this. If you don't allow trying on or exchanges then this would be unconstitutional.

Please ensure this is resolved asap.
