Mr. Price Online Store

Good day. This serves as a review of Mr. Price's online store and their App. I've made several purchased on your website without problem and was quite impressed with the variety of payment methods available - I prefer manual EFT. This method of payment has also always worked on your site.

Recently, I placed an order and it was a nightmare! After several "declines" and "rejected" notifications for who knows what reason, I finally managed to pay my order via your app. The problem is, despite the app saying that my payment "failed", the amount was deducted from my account - with an sms to prove it. I was struggling to pay for my order for over two days with several transactions going through at one point etc. There was definately something wrong with your payment engine/platform online and on the app because it has been a mission. I've even tried different browsers and devices - all point to your online payment engine being faulty.

After I noticed that the amount was indeed (finally) taken from my account, I phoned my bank who informed me that the transaction needs to be processed on Mr. Price's side. I phone Mr. Price and they stated that they cannot find any record of my transaction or payment. So it seems my money is stuck in limbo with no-one able to help me. I cannot print a "proof of payment" as it was a card transaction which is not "processed" on MRP's side.

I am so terribly disappointed. I've order hundreds of times through your online store and I've been very loyal. Now, I am afraid I will be deleting my account and app. Due to an error on your app and website, I am being penalised.

I would not recommend the app or the online store to anyone - the transactions are not safe.
