Mr Price Mobile **********

I was called to say I've been offered a sim card because of my loyalty as a customer with R25 free airtime per month, I told the agent I doubt whether I will use the sim, however thought that my kids could use the free airtime, the way the agent spoke in no way indicated to me that it would cost me anything, only if I loaded airtime, which I wasn't planning to do. I even asked her so is this not going to cost me anything and she did NOT say, it's going to cost you R100 per month, she spoke in riddles and said that it will only cost what I LOAD onto the sim card. However when the sim card was delivered it said on the packaging R100 per month, so I told my husband not to accept the package. Now for the real blow, all of a sudden I am charged R100 on my account, for cancellation of the sim card. No where in the call does she mention to me that I would be charged a cancellation fee either. THIS IS A MONEY MAKING **** by MR Price Mobile and I am DISGUSTED that a company like MR Price would treat it's customers in this way. Needless to say I will be cancelling my account with MR Price and will no longer shop in any of their stores.
