Mr Price (Mall of Africa) Security personnel.

My two siblings were pick pocketed within minutes of entering the store. They both saw that their bags had been open, but my younger sister's phone was gone. She quickly rushed to the security at the door to share what has just happened, but for some reason without even trying to assist us the security whose name is Catherine just said the phone was gone we should just accept that.

She then said it was Charity who probably took the phone, we then tried to get the direction of were this Charity went, the same security personnel delayed showing us the direction of the person. Saying the phone was gone we should be more careful next time.

We then went to the Head of Security of the mall, but they couldn't assist us, reason being that they do not have access to the security footage of the store. We then went back to the store to ask if they can allow us to see the footage since this incident happened just a few minutes ago.

They delayed to assist us and told us that their cameras do not work and that they are no cameras at all in the store.

We were disappointed that if the security personnel could have at least showed some initiative and assisted us in the slightest manner, we would not have felt so helpless.

Then Catherine just became rude and continuously said there goes another one, which meant we were not the first people who got pick pocketed in their store.

We then decided to do a sim swap, so my sister can at least have her numbers, when she chatted to the person assisting us at Telkom, she find out that the lady at Telkom store was pick-pocketed at the very same store (Mrprice Mall of Africa) and that this is actually a norm at Mr price store, that security personnel just do not assist anyone and the manager just throws hands in the air and responds in a rude manner and unhelpful attitude.

The whole experience ruined our day.

And we will not step inside that store ever again.
