Mr Price Mall@reds

On the 05/02/2026 @ 10:37 my 14 year old (minor) daughter and I went into Mr Price clothing at mall@reds. When we were ready to pay we waited at the counter as there were other patrons in front of us (two women) While we were waiting, I noticed the STAFF (including the manager) at the counter talking about us, their talking and staring led to my daughter trying to 'hide behind' me. I knew they were talking about us when the two other patrons turned to stare at my daughter. So I asked what the problem was to which one staff member commented that they 'like my daughters shoes'

I find this behavior totally unacceptable, bullying and offensive towards a minor!

In terms of the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), consumers are entitled to fair and respectful service without ************, dismissiveness, or undue pressure. Based on what occurred, I do not feel this standard was met
