Mr Price Insurances

I've just open an account yesterday at Mr price cell phone. And purchase same day after I was approved, now I received a call from them, forcing me to take an insurance which cost R200 above I told them that I can't afford, they insist and I end up hanging up, 2hr later another call and I told her that I' don't need this insurance since I'm covered somewhere but insist.is that fair, now it seem that they registered me without my consent.
