Mr Price Home
I stood in line at Mr Price Home this morning - when it was my turn the lady - Lindi - nodded for me to come forward - she had an unhappy look on her face. I walked towards her keeping eye-contact and in a friendly manner asked..." I wonder if you can help me find...." Before I could continue she said with absolute acid in her voice "Goodmorning Ma'am" So I greeted her and then continued my request. She was most unpleasant...I get that it might be Lindi's culture to greet but why then not greet me first...why be silent...and wait for me to speak first...why should I be made to feel like some unacceptable person...when my approach was most friendly. My culture says that a customer can expect friendly faces and transparent communication. After this I was in several other shops where as I approached I was greeted in a welcoming manner. In any case, I then had to travel to Mr Price Home Nothgate to find what the first lady was so reluctant to help me with. I got it immediately and stood in line in front of the many tills. There were 8 to 10 Mr Price personal scream-talking to each other - some behind the tills and others in the vicinity. I waited...after a while I asked a personal member of there was elsewhere I could pay...without a word she pointed back at the tills I was standing and walked away. I am sure yr shops have surveillance so you can confirm all these happenings. Really Mr Price Home...we love your products but your staff does not enhance the shopping experience.
