Mr Price fitting room policy

I went to the Mr Price store at Bela Bela and wanted to fit on 3 shirts. I went to the fitting room with my mother because I wanted her opinion on which shirt to buy. When I got to the fitting room, we were told that only 1 person is allowed in a fitting room and that is the new Mr Price policy. I've shopped at many other stores and this is the first time I've heard of something like that. I understand that people might find it easier to *****, but if I walk into a fitting room with 3 items, it is obvious that I will come out of it with the 3 items. Is it genuinely a Mr Price policy? Why are there no signa stating that in the store?
