My daughter and I entered Mr. Price last week Thursday and walked to the jeans section. At the time there were 2 assailants already standing at the section. We started looking for jeans, they played victim as if we were invading their space. I kept on apologizing. At one stage my one strap of my handbag slipped off my shoulder and out of habit, I immediately re-acted picked it up and moved the bag closer to my chest. At the time the 1 assailant immediately turned his back on me, not making much of it. Still between us, then on our left then on our right, talking and making jobs and we keep apologizing for bumping into them and taking up their space. By the time we were done and walked to the queue, my daughter put everything on the floor and as she opened her bag, she realized her iPhone was ******. this happened at 17:45. 17:46 I tried to phone the number to see if they were still in the store, but the phone was off. She ran out to Mtn was across from Mr. Price and another horrible ordeal struck. Complaint against MTN to follow. We go to Mr. Price quite often and what I find amazing about the one at Fern on Republic, I can confirm most horrible store ever and they will be happy if they ever see us shop there again. No sympathy, not even trying to help. They are quick to check you at the door when you leave with a Mr., Price bag but what about those who enter the store empty handed and "leave" the store empty handed. Is that not suspicious. Why do you have security??????????????????? When you enter Mr. Price at Randburg Square, totally different ball game. There is staff watching cameras 24/7. Wehn I was there a month ago, 24/7 announcements being made, ladies be careful, be on the outlook, I see pick pockets walking around in the store. Keep your bag, phone and personal belongings safe. If one store can do it what is stopping Fern on Republic to follow the same approach. We all know the price range of an iPhone.
